Friday Morning Opening Plenary Saturday Luncheon Plenary

The Promise and the Tradition
Moderator Deb Vinsel and panelists Ron Cooper, Sue Buske, Sean McLaughlin and Tony Shawcross discuss core values of community media, the evolution of next generation digital media, and the future of public, education and government access.

The Theme of the conference is “Access Without Borders” and we’re going to spend the weekend exploring new approaches, breaking down the traditional borders or boundaries that we’ve historically associated with Public Access TV.  But we want to keep in mind our founding principles... Why we’re doing what we’re doing.

And we want to set the stage for an open-minded, healthy debate and discussion. There are some differences, and we want to be authentic and open in exploring those differences.

Media Alliances Luncheon Plenary
Special guests, including Beth McConnell from Media and Democracy Coalition and Denis Moynihan (FSTV) along with others will engage conferees to discuss strategies for creating successful alliances with organizations that benefit public access and community technology centers.
